Description
Segerström Automotive, a sub-supplier of sheet metal components, will cut 90 jobs in Eskilstuna in Sweden by February 2009 at the latest. The redundancy notices at Segerström Automotive are an immediate consequence of the downsizing at Volvo Construction Equipment, one of Segerström's largest customers.
Segerström Automotive was founded in 1906 and is a sub-supplier of sheet metal components. Their customers are mainly in the automotive industry and include companies like Volvo and Scania. Since 2005 they have been part of the Canadian Group ISE Stamping Inc. Segerström Automotive have factories in Sweden (Eskilstuna), Estonia (Tallinn) and Belgium (Ghent) and at four locations in North America.
