Description
Daily Mail and General Trust, a media company, has announced that it is to cut 400 jobs across the UK. The company, which owns titles such as the Daily Mail and London Evening Standard as well as other regional titles, attributed the job cuts to a need to reduce costs as advertising revenues have fallen, particularly amongst property listings. As of 23 November 2008, it is not known at which sites the job losses will occur, when the jobs will be lost, or how many jobs will remain.
