European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Motoman Robotics gave notice to 70 employees in Kalmar because of a weakening market and decreased sales. The negotiations are now over and a timeline for the restructuring has been submitted. The measures are expected to be carried out in the course of next year in accordance with the Swedish labour legislation.
Motoman Robotics is a developer, manufacturer and supplier of industrial robots and robotized automation systems for a range of applications. They supply robot based automation systems, robots, own developed standard products, software and technical support.
