Description

Johnson Controls-NTU, manufacturer of car seats and backrests, based in Slovenj Gradec in Northern Slovenia, is to cut 100 jobs. The company, which currently employs 700 people, cited decreased demand due to recent recession trends as the reason for the restructuring which will take place over the next couple of months. Johnson Controls-NTU is a subsidiary of US based multinational Johnson Controls.

The latest information from 2009-02-11 says that the number of employees at the moment is 640, meaning that already 60 people were laid off and that another 130 will lose jobs in the next two months. Thus, the number of employees at mid April is expected to be 510.
