Description
The group Deshoulières, manufacturer of porcelain, announced that 188 jobs will be cut between November 2008 and March 2009 on the sites of Chauvigny (Vienne) and will close down the site of Lamotte-Beuvron (Loir-et-Cher) where 70 persons are employed because of economic problems - and according to trade unions, because of chineese market competition. The group, which employs a total of 361 people, will cut 82 jobs (out of 178) in Chauvigny, 70 jobs in Lamotte-Beuvron. In its chain stores (13 in Table), 24 jobs will be cut, as well as 12 posts in the financial headquarters in Paris. The group has two other sites in Limoges and Dorat in Haute-Vienne.
