Description
Heating and sanitary equipment supplier Sanistål has announced the dismissal of 225 employees due to the financial crisis and a recession in the construction sector. 175 of the cuts will be direct dismissals and the rest will be by retirement, early retirement and other means. The job cuts will be carried out throughout the whole company, which currently employs 1,860, over the next six months. Employees who have been dismissed will have the opportunity to follow training and have a meeting with recruitment consultants to prepare them for job interviews. The company announced that these restructuring measures would cost DKK15 million.
