European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Spanish charter carrier Futura International Airways based in Palma de Mallorca has filed for bankruptcy resulting in the loss of 1,200 jobs. According to the airline unions, the company does not have money "to pay compensation to employees”.
