European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Fagor, a Spanish manufacturer of domestic appliances, has announced that it is to cut 150 jobs at its plants in the Basque Country. The job losses will be achieved through early retirements and relocations to other cooperatives in Mondragon. The reason behind this decision is the drop in sales triggered by the international economic crisis.
