Description
Lladro, a Spanish luxury porcelain manufacturer, is to cut 275 workers (19% of its total workforce) in order to "ensure the continuity of the company" hit by several crisis since 2002. Any attempt to counteract the trend in falling sales (e.g. launch of a new production line) has been unsuccessful due to the current global economic slowdown.
