Description
Caterpillar, an engineering company who make construction equipment, has announced that it has cut 170 jobs at its factory in Peterlee, County Durham. The company currently employs 1,000 at the factory, and those who have lost their jobs were temporary workers employed through Parkhouse recruitment agency. The company attributed the job losses to the economic slowdown.
