On 10 October 2008 the German banking corporation Deutsche Bank announced the expansion of its outlets network in Europe. In the next four years Deutsche Bank plans to set up 400 new outlets, with a total of 2500 employees, in Germany, Italy and Poland. 150 new outlets with some 1250 employees will be set up in Germany but no details were given on the expansion in Italy or Poland. The aim of the expansion is to concentrate activities on retail banking operations. The company employs 78291 employees worldwide (as of 2007).
