European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
H3G Italia, one of the main mobile communications company in Italy, is to cut 200 jobs. The trade unions reacted to the company’s decision by organising a national strike on 31 October 2008. H3G is one of the companies that developed third-generation mobile communications in Italy. Its headquarter is in Milan, while the Technical General Management is located in Rome. It employs about 2,400 people in Italy.
