The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Irish-owned airline, Aer Arann, has announced up to 100 redundancies as part of a cost-cutting programme in response to the "difficult international environment" in the airline industry. The company currently employs 400 people, and insists its key routes will not be affected by its cost-cutting proposals.
