Best Value Conservatories, a manufacturer of conservatories based at Peterlee in County Durham, has gone into administration. 180 of the 208 people employed at the company have been made redundant with immediate effect. As of 19 October 2008 it is not know if or when these remaining 28 staff will be made redundant. The company blamed its closure on falling sales.
