Description
Nestle, a multinational company operating in the food manufacturing sector, has announced that it is to create 100 jobs at its plant in York. The company has developed a new co-packing operation, which will combine different products from different manufacturing sites into one pack. The move comes after 80 new jobs were announced at the plant earlier this year, although the company made 645 redundancies in 2006. As of 19 October 2008, it is not known when these new jobs will start.
