Description
On 6 October 2008, the clothing retail company Sinn Leffers which belongs to Deutsche Industrie Holding (DHI) announced that it is to close 24 out of 47 outlets by the end of February 2009 with the loss of 1,000 jobs (out of 2,360 jobs). The measure includes cuts in administration and are according to the company a reaction to an immediate danger of insolvency. As of October 2008, there are no further details on dismissals or other measures.
