Profilgruppen, which manufactures aluminium extrusions and components, is to make 55 employees from the nightshift teams redundant. Profilgruppen is a Swedish company that markets, develops and manufactures customised aluminium extrusions and components. Their head office is located in Åseda in Småland, Sweden, which is where the activities started 27 years ago. The Group currently has 435 employees and they operate primarily in the Western European market. Due to decreasing market demands, mostly from their customers in the construction and motor businesses, Profilgruppen is forced to adjust their capacity and teminate their production in the nightshift teams.
