The pharmaceutical company Nycomed has announced the offshoring of some of its production activities from Denmark to Germany and Poland with the loss of 190 jobs by the end of 2009 at the latest. The overall tendency in the sector is to reduce the number of production units. As of September 2008, there is no information about the total number employed in the affected unit.
