European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
IHC Merwede, operating in the shipbuilding sector, announced on 24 September 2008, that it will hire 300 new employees, mainly technicians, but also for sales and admistrative functions. This decision is attributed to an increase in the order portfolio. AS of September 2008, there is no information on when the new jobs will be created by.
