European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
The German Freudenberg Group, a manufacturer of automotive components, announced that is to close the factory in the Zona Franca de Barcelona, with the loss of 141 jobs (of which 121 permanent jobs and 20 temporary jobs). The job losses will be implemented by March 2009.
