European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Coca Cola HBC Romania, local subsidiary of Coca Cola Hellenic, producer of soft drinks, announced the closure of the Oradea plant in the next two months with the loss of 102 jobs. Redundant employees will receive compensatory payments totalling 7-10 monthly wages, according with the provisions of the collective agreement in force. Production will be transferred to other counties in Romania where the company operates. Last year the turnover of the company in Romania was approximately EUR 515.8 million, an increase by 41% compared to 2006.
