Description

German car maker Continental has announced that it is to close its production plant at Asnières (Hauts-de-Seine) in France by December 2009, which will result in the loss of 250 jobs. The production of fuel-injection pumps will be offshored to the Czech Republic and Germany. Continental has already announced the relocation of part of production at its plant in France in Rambouillet (Yvelines).
