European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
French telecoms and the Internet company Iliad SA anounced its internal restructuring plan consisting in cutting between 320 and 340 jobs at its broadband unit Alice in Paris between March and December 2009, after having merged it with Iliad's other broadband provider, Free. The company is not planning any mandatory departure before March 2009 but will favor instead voluntary departure and internal mobility. According to the statement, Iliad wants to maintain the brand Alice and its activities.
