Description
Sita, the waste management subsidiary of French environmental services group GDF Suez, has announced that it is to team up with Wienerberger, one of the world's largest brick makers. Wienerberger plans to build a brick manufacturing plant in Bellegarde, in the Gard, on a site neighbouring one of Sita's waste processing plants. The pits where Wienerberger plans to extract clay for brick making will be used to store Sita's non-dangerous waste. The new arrangement is expected to create 150 job creations before 2011.
