European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Faccenda, a company that operates in the food manufacturing sector, has closed its factory in Sutton Benger near Chippenham in Wiltshire. The factory produced chicken products and all 380 staff lost their jobs on Friday 12 September 2008. The company attributed the closure to rising costs of fuel and chicken feed.
