Description

Her Majesty’s Revenue and Customs (HMRC) has announced that it is to create a new contact centre at Lillyhall in West Cumbria. This will create three hundred and fifty new jobs. The move also secures 50 HMRC jobs at the contact centre in nearby Whitehaven. As of 14 September 2008 it is not known when the centre will open, although recruitment for positions at the centre has already started.
