Description
The pharmaceutical group UCB announced at the end of August its decision to specialize in a certain type of medicine that acts on the immune system and the nerve center.
As a result 2400 jobs worldwide will be cut, while the management announced the recruitment of 400 specialists in these two fields.
Jobs losses have been announced in Belgium. The management remains silent about other countries but announced some restructuration in Europe, Japan and the United States.
