The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Anthill AB is a service company that provides telephone and mail support as well as telemarketing. Outside Sweden, the company has branches located in Estonia, Latvia, Poland, Finland and Norway. Due to profitability problems the company activities have undergone extensive rationalisation and the same amount of services can now be performed by fewer people. As a result, the company will close down its office in Kristianstad and move the core activities from there to other Swedish offices in Sundsvall and Sollefteå. 180 jobs will be lost by the closure by the end of this year.
