Description
Apoteket AB is the single Swedish pharmacy company, owned by the state and in a monopolist position. Apoteket AB is a provider of drugs; both on prescription and over-the-counter, as well as toilet requisites and cosmetics. Since 2001, Apoteket AB has had two customer service offices, one in Uppsala and one in Kalmar. Due to a changing market situation with new and different needs for customer service, Apoteket AB has decided to close down the office in Uppsala and concentrates all its activities in the site of Kalmar. The closing of the office in Uppsala will be completed by 1 July 2009, affecting the entire workforce of 200 employees.
