Description
American car components manufacturer Tyco Electronics has announced the loss of 305 jobs with the delocalisation of production to Hungary and Czech Republic and the closure of its plant in Berga (Barcelona) currently employing 213. Another 69 jobs will be cut in the plant in Montcada (Barcelona) and 23 jobs in the company’s offices in Barcelona. According to some sources another plant in Valls (Spain) may also close but no official announcement has been made yet.
