Description
IAC Group manufactures products for the global automotive industry. Their core areas of production are components for interior systems, carpet & acoustics products as well as exterior parts. IAC has 1700 employees in Sweden, divided up onto five units in Göteborg, Färgelanda, Todaholm, Trollhättan and Skara. Volvo and Saab, the company's two largest clients, has reduced their orderings by 20 percent in the last year, forcing IAC to restructure its activities. As a result of this, IAC plans to reduce its workforce by 280 employees during September. The reductions will affect all units equally.
