Description
Packard Bell France, the French division of the computer manufacturer Packard Bell, which was taken over by Taiwan's Acer at the end of last year, is to cut 149 jobs in two sites (Angers, Puteaux) in France from 376 in total between January and December 2009.
Purchasing, engineering and hotline activities will cease at the company's site in Angers, but the after-sales service will continue and a repair centre for Packard Bell products will be created.
