European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Japan Mitsubishi Plastic Company management announced that the company will establish its subsidiary in Slovakia. The new production plant will be localised in Nitra’s industrial park. Plastic components for LCD TVs will be produced from 2009. The majority of the production will be supplied to the new Sony production plant localised nearby the industrial park. About 200 new jobs will be created within a period of two years.
