Description
Holmen Paper AB produces paper for e. g. newspapers, magasins, advertisement leaflets and phone books. Holmen Paper AB owns four paper mills: in Norrköping, Hallstavik, Vargön and Madrid. Due to increased prices on timber, decreased market prices on paper and a weakening market for that sort of paper, Holmen Paper AB is forced to shut down the mill in Vargön. The plan is to close the activity by December 2008, and 340 jobs will thereby be lost.
