Description
Alcoa Fujikura, a manufacturer of wiring harness systems for automotive industry, has announced 844 jobs cuts out of 2,050 staff in its StÅ™Ãbro plant by the end of July 2008 due to ongoing customer order decline. The restructuring measures are also related to the company´s decision to move part of its production to Romania. The management entered into negotiations with trade unions about social protection programmes for dismissed workers.
