Description
British American Tobacco (BAT) announced the opening of a new financial service centre in Burhcarest, named British American Shared Services Europe (BASS Europe), which will at first employee 100 workers. By 2010 this new unit will provide services for 36 European countries. In the centre, BAT will hire 250 persons over the next three years. In 2007, BAT recorded in Romania a turnover of EUR 824 million.
