European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Oradea-based Proges, specialised in the distribution of home improvement materials, has announced that it is to create 150 new jobs by the end of 2008, thus bringing its workforce from 850 to 1000 employees. The company will invest EUR 5 million in the expansion of its stores network in Romania over the next three years. The company estimated that sales will amount to EUR 110 million in 2008, which represents an increase of 37% compared to 2007.
