Description
Stal-Met is relocating its factory of metal packaging for transport and storage of automotive and machine industry parts and components from Grudziądz to Chełmno (in kujawsko-pomorski region). The Chełmno plant will employ 200 workers. Stal-Met’s customers include Volkswagen, which purchases pallets for transporting windshields and other car parts. As of July 2008, there is no information on when either employment at the new plant will commence or the new jobs will be created by.
