European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
The Spanish-French tobacco company Altadis announced the loss of 226 jobs and the closure of two productions lines as part of internal restructuring at their Imperial Tobacco plant in Cadiz (Andalucía). Only 65 employees will remain at the Cadiz plant. In addition, the company announced future restructuring of their other Spanish plants.
