Restructuring events
European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
In June, 2008, Electrolux got the permission to build a second household appliances factory in Świdnica (the Świdnica-based Electrolux plant is presently manufacturing kitchen ovens). The new plant is going to employ 300 people by the end of 2009. Electrolux has got another plant in Żarów that produces dishwashers, a washing machine factory in Oława and a tumble-driers plant in Siewierz.
