Description

150 new jobs will be created by Kempinski Hotels S.A. - a worldwide hotel chain of luxury hotels with headquarters in Geneva - and Slovenian company Istrabenz Hoteli Portorož. The two companies signed an agreement for the next 20 years, providing that the Palace Hotel in Portorož on the Slovenian Adriatic coast will be operated by Kempinski, which in turn will provide brand name, know-how, management, marketing and staff training. The hotel has been recently fully reconstructed and renovated by Istrabenz Hoteli Portorož and has been upgraded to a high class luxury hotel with an investment of between EUR 76 million and EUR 100 million. The hotel will open to the public by the end of September 2008.

The latest information (Finance, 2008-08-07) says that the new hotel will employ 200 employees in high season.
