European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Aluminum producer Alumetal plans the construction of a new factory in Nowa Sól (in the Kostrzyńsko-Słubicka Special Economic Zone) which will produce aluminium alloys and bars for the steel industry. Construction works will commence in early 2009. The factory will initially employ 50; another 70 people will be employed in a second phase. As of June 2008, there is no information on when the new jobs will be created by.
