European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
The electrical appliance retailer Markantalo is to start personnel negotiations in order to cut 120 jobs due to productivity reasons. Discussions will cover all of its current 450 employees.
Markantalo has 12 retail sales units all over Finland and the company has had financial troubles over the last years.
