Description

Bakkavor Pasta, a pasta manufacturer based in Scunthorpe has announced that it will close at the end of May with the loss of 107 jobs. The firm attributed the closure to the increased cost of raw materials and a declining market. The firm has completed a 90 day consultation process but was unable find an alternative to closure. The firm has stated that it is assisting staff with finding alternative employment at other sites or with other employers.
