European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Due to internal restructuring the Danish television and radio channel TV2, will cut 205 jobs in the company. There will be 136 direct dismissals and the other 56 will consist of jobs which will not be filled when an employee leaves their post due to retirement, illness, etc. The redundancies are part of a savings plan after the failure of its radio station which will close on 1st July having been in operation for only one year. TV2 will go into cooperation with SBS about the radio channel.
