Description
OP Prostějov, one of the most important Czech producers of men and ladies clothing, has announced a restructuring plan resulting in about 660 job losses. The two manufacturing facilities of Ostrava and Loštice will be closed and over 500 people will be dismissed. The company is also planning to reduce the workforce at its main plant in Prostějov, where about 160 jobs will be cut from a total of 3,000 staff. The reason reported for the restructuring is a shortage of skilled workers.
