Description

On 22 April 2008, Bosch Rexroth announced the creation of 1,800 new jobs - mainly in production but also in research and development - by the end of 2008. The drive and control specialist’s sales for 2007 saw an increase by 8.8 percent amounting to around EUR 5.4 billion. In 2008, the company seeks to continue is business expansion scheme. As part of the business expansion scheme Bosch Rexroth had invested 377 million euro into several of its locations in 2007. In the last year, Bosch Rexroth had already employed 1,800 additional employees in its production units or in its research and development departments. At the end of 2007, more than 17,900 people were working at the company’s locations in Germany.
