Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
ZF Friedrichshafen, which produces components for chassis and transmission systems mainly for Kia Motors, Volkswagen and PSA Peugeot-Citroën, has created 475 jobs at its new production plant in Levice-Géňa industrial park. According to the president of the ZF Board, Hans-Georg Härter, this is the first stage of the German company’s business expansion in the park. The Greenfield investment amounted to Euro 30 million and company management has announced that it plans to increase the investment by a further Euro 50 million and will create a further 1,100 new jobs there by the end of 2011.
