Groz-Beckert Czech, a Germany-based manufacturer of needles for knitting and sewing machines, has announced that it is to create 200 new jobs with the expansion of its production at the plant located in the Lužice city (HodonÃn region). The construction of a new production extension is expected to be completed by the end of April 2010. The current plant has an annual production capacity of 90 million needles and employs 500 workers. Following the expansion, the production is expected to reach 230 million needles per year.
