European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Dura Automotive, a manufacturer of motor vehicles, has announced the closure their plant in Orkoien (Navarra) with the loss of all 162 jobs. This is part of an extensive reorganisation plan which includes delocalisation of production to Portugal. The regional governement has rejected this plan for its negative consequences on the economy of the area.
